SunWatch Indian Village/Archaeological Park

Story:

Located on the banks of the Great Miami River, SunWatch is a partially reconstructed Fort Ancient period American Indian Village. The Fort Ancient people occupied the Middle Ohio River Valley between about AD 1000 and AD 1650, living in what is now southeastern Indiana east to modern-day West Virginia. SunWatch is on the National Register of Historic Places and also is a National Historic Landmark.
