Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra

Story:

The Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra is one of the oldest cultural institutions in the Dayton region. With 83 contracted musicians, the symphony is directed by Neal Gittleman, just the fourth conductor since the orchestra's founding in 1933. The Philharmonic is a fully professional, unionized orchestra with an annual budget of just under $4 million. It supports a chamber orchestra, five chamber ensembles, a professional concert band, a 140-voice all-volunteer Chorus and two youth orchestras.
